i was wondering if there was a way to convert flash games t make them playable on the ds? because there are a ton of great flash games that would work great on the ds

That's right - I asked many moons ago about something similar

- there was apparently a 'flash animation player' attempt made but the idea been discontinued 'cos Adobe kept updating & the developer couldn't keep up

There was also mentioned the fact that the DS didn't really have the processing power to create smooth animations either

also that flash player has no keyboard support. no games

FAILED....

If there's no Keyboard support, how do flash games actually WORK then - I've seen flash games that require you to 'push a key' or 'Use Arrow keys to move' - admittedly these are flash games inside browsers, but that shouldn't be a problem

Also you can get Flash games that work with mouse clicks only - ideal with a DS touch screen,
& what about Flash Animations - those you don't even need a keyboard

Lol, Cannonfoddr seems to have quickly read your comment and missed the crucial word:

I'm pretty sure most people know that the flash player for computers supports the keyboard xD. On a different note, wouldn't it just be a blast to have some of the well known flash games ported remade for the DS, like "This Is The Only Level", "Obey The Game", "Canabalt", "One Button Bob", and all of those other funny games.

Yeah, like the famous Robot Unicorn could be easy to port, as it only has a unicorn running through a pre-generated map (which changes during every game) and uses only two buttons - jump and dash.

That makes no sense: if its pre-genereated, it can't change. Just pointing that out.

Dude, if This is the Only Level and Canabalt were ported/remade for the DS I'd cry. Seriously, best flash games ever.
