but I remember there was one application for the ds so you can see flash movies without sound or something like that... it was made for homestar runner or something like that.

What psycoblaster is talking about can be found at http://natrium42.com/blog/?p=36 but bear in mind that it must be recompiled to add a new flash file, and nobody's been able to compile it for ages due to differences in the old version of the compiler vs the new one.
