They should make a flash game player for DS like they did for PSP, or can you not make that for DS?
Highly unlikely. There was a proof of concept that played a built-in SWF ages ago, with no sound and IIRC, very slow playback.
Flash, by default, requires more power than the DS has, so don't count on ever playing such games on the DS unless they are ported to the DS.
Here are the system requirements for Flash to work properly:
As you can see, the DS can't cut the mustard for Flash apps.
In fairness, that's Flash Player 10, the latest version. There's no need for the version used to be based on that.
what 'bout DSi?
i'd really like to see that happen...
Especially for Boxhead zombies
You could use Flash Lite but its still too high in system requirements
* For user interface: 4–6MB
* For standalone content: 2–4MB (excludes video)
* For web browsing: 32MB
As long as we don't use it on Web browsing, it might work on a DSi.
32-bit data bus, 200MHz
DSi only has 136Mhz at best not going to happen
Why do people keep asking questions like this? Don't you think in 4 years, if it was possible, someone would have done it by now?
i can't believe how many of such topics keep appearing! please try to do a search before start yet another topic.
and about swf on a dslite, near impossible to get it running anywhere near 100% speed. dsi possible with the improved specs, but still highly unlikely.
