They'd still need authority to confiscate items from an individual not to mention a warrant to ask for ID and search your pockets if you put the card into your pocket. If they fail to do so, you could sue them for $$.
Not really. If you don't show them your boot up menu, and you don't go around showing off 20 different games without switching your cart like a dumbass, then yeah, it's gonna look pretty fishy. They shouldn't be able to. That's like saying that they'd take your iPod away at a music store for having songs downloaded from the internet. (No, not iTunes.)
Horrible example, it is nearly impossible to tell if the songs you have on your MP3 player is pirated as you could've gotten any which ways (ripping it from your CD for example). But having a flash cart and 20 games on it makes it quite obvious you're pirating.
I was just wondering has anyone tried using a flashcart at an official nintendo event / some other event?
For example in pokemon has anyone tried battling people with a flashcart?
Just wondering.
Crack's your property too, doesn't mean you're allowed to have it. Nintendo can't take it, but someone else mightNintendoOfAmerica said:Can I Download a Nintendo ROM from the Internet if I Already Own the Authentic Game?
There is a good deal of misinformation on the Internet regarding the backup/archival copy exception. It is not a "second copy" rule and is often mistakenly cited for the proposition that if you have one lawful copy of a copyrighted work, you are entitled to have a second copy of the copyrighted work even if that second copy is an infringing copy. The backup/archival copy exception is a very narrow limitation relating to a copy being made by the rightful owner of an authentic game to ensure he or she has one in the event of damage or destruction of the authentic. Therefore, whether you have an authentic game or not, or whether you have possession of a Nintendo ROM for a limited amount of time, i.e. 24 hours, it is illegal to download and play a Nintendo ROM from the Internet.
Well, they can't take your property... It's our property.. so...

I have an idea for Pokemon! Get all the hacked Pokemon you want, and transfer to the real copy. Eaaaaassssyyyyyyyy...?
Also, I live in Australia but I don't have Pokemon Diamond so I can't do the JB Hi-Fi event... although I am getting it soon... (legit one, mind you) unfortunately after the event ends.
Also...
QUOTEI tried to get Manaphy on my R4 at the JB HI-FI nintendo event (Australia). And it woudnt work, i just never got the wonder card. Tried on my legit pokemon card and worked instantly so yeah i dont know.
But what would be better is if the R4 adds functionality to act as an ACTUAL ARDS (as in you can activate codes and then load your official cart).
If you were caught, you would be disqualified. They probably can't do anything outside of kicking you out of the event
Why would you want to cheat when playing at an event? That's just lame and idiotic.
I used my R4 at the Gamestop Pokemon tourney, and I didn't get any heat for it. Obviously, they checked my Poke's moves, stats, etc. to see if they were legit, and they were (or were theyÂ? lol, kidding). I did freak some kids out when I played Metroid Prime without switching my cart, thoughÂ
