Hacking Flash Cart + Nintendo Events?

I was just wondering has anyone tried using a flashcart at an official nintendo event / some other event?

For example in pokemon has anyone tried battling people with a flashcart?

well, sometimes they check the cart, and if you battle on the big screen, they see your flashcarts menu

Rofl that'd be a site to see, wonder what their reaction would be, probably instant disqualification on grounds of convicted cheating.
Apart from that, events like downloading Manaphy which is currently going on now at the closest JB-HiF- (In Melb. Aus) my friend who has a Ninjaflash succesfully d/led the pokemon so it should work on the R4.

But if it's illegal to have a backup cart or use backups on it where you go it's probably a bad idea.

I've taken my flashcart with me to Toys R Us in the summer of '05 to get Animal Crossing items, they didn't do anything...they couldn't.
It's not illegal unless you've got Nintendo DS ROMs on it (not sure if it's legal if you really do own a copy of the ROM on your flashcart). It's legal to play music, videos, play homebrew, etc.

They'll probably consficate it or something if it has ROMs on it.

Horrible example, it is nearly impossible to tell if the songs you have on your MP3 player is pirated as you could've gotten any which ways (ripping it from your CD for example). But having a flash cart and 20 games on it makes it quite obvious you're pirating.
