Gaming Fixing a DS Lite hinge?

I have my lovely DS Lite black with no scratches since a while now. My hinge cracked and I fixed it, but now the plastic part from the right hinge (that is part of the upper screen) broke off completely and the screen is loose as heck. I've heard that fixing is really difficult, but can't I just replace that part with the one from my other functional DS (but it has a lot of scratches on the screens and it's pink, I love it black)?

I'd love some tips on this, how to do it and if it's possible. I just wanna use my black DS again, I really love that one. I can put up a photo if it's needed.
