Right, so I attempted an installation of an OLED PicoFly Modchip which, after seeing nothing from pressing the power button, I had failed the installation somewhere. So, I decided to desolder the mod to see what damage I caused.

It's a lot.
Now, I'm going to have to replace the CMD capacitor with new ones (assuming the other capacitor next to the broken is still working). Is the CLK trace just fucked at this point?

Clk isn’t fucked, but I see your temps on the iron were way too high. Need to run a wire from the trace to the point on the clk.

As for the caps, they definitely are probably burnt to hell but could be replaced….

Use solder mask

9 minute mark of the video is what you need

Thank you for that video, I was able to retrace the CLK point (CLK trace had 0.690 and CLK point had 1.02 on Diode), Also, yeah, I had 320C on my pinecil, lowered it down to 250 seems to be good enough. I ordered a pack of 0201 47k SMD for the CMD resistor.

You need to check the continuity between the points. If your diode is giving you discrepancy in reading on the same trace it means your trace is shorted. You also need to clean the crap you left behind on the board cause that also can interfere with your readings.

320 isn’t too bad, the trace and point should now read the same without shorting out. If so you should be ok on that.

Well, decided to redo the trace with a better wire, Diode readings gives 0.699 across the entire wire with 0 beeps on continuity. So assuming I haven't killed this thing, I just need to wait for the new resistors to arrive.
