The overworld theme restarts every time you enter in battle, also it'll play the wrong music during certain scenes
There's an unofficial patch for the Steam version

For what sake you are giving link to fix for game that is not even released on Switch yet?

Fix for FFIX would be better, but if I remember correctly, there is none.

Due to the game not even being released yet, you should probably wait until it is to check if the issue persists. If it does, you can diffing the filesystem of the game, and applying the patch manually.
