Hi,

I got a switch 4.1.0 with serial unpatched and i would like to know if it's better to upgrade to 7.1 on nintendo server without save the nand ?beacause i see a lot of people using the last update or upgrade to 6.02

1)save 4.1.0 nand and upgrade with choidujournx to 6.0.2 and save the 6.02 nand.I see a lot of people can't install nsp games this is the reason i don't know if i update to the last firmware.

2)upgrade to the 7.1 on the nintendo server and save the firmware 7.1 nand.

I would like to play the last games and emulator with Atmosphere so what is the best choice?
Any chance to see a cfw for the 4.1.0?.a lot of people update to 6.0.2 or 7.1
a 4.1.0 save nand is recomended?

Thanks

You can update your console to the latest firmware with ChoiDujourNX. Atmosphere already supports 7.0.1. Also you can keep your fuses count equal to 4.1.0 so that you can always downgrade to 4.1.0 if you need to. Make backup of both, 4.1.0 and latest firmware.

Nsps can be installed, as long as you have a installer which works on 7.0.0/1 (devmenu, goldleaf 0.5 - unreleased yet, tinfoil with keys). This has nothing to do with atmo and is always their mistake.

Ok thanks.so,i will save the 4.1.0 nand and update to 7.1with choidujournx and after i will save the nand again.
What is the best nsp installer with the 7.1 firmware?game will work?

Goldleaf. But for that you either have to use nightly builds or wait. If you can, install devmenu 6.x define edition now (search for it).

Ok thanks i will search it,no link found,i will check.thanks a lot.
Maybe i will update to 6.2 if i can't find devemu.thanks a lot:lol:

I got the serial xaj400373.can you confirm it's an unpatched version?

Should be unpatched. Also, do the 4.1.0 backup before doing anything else.

The serial is safe.i will check for devmenu.thank you

You install it and you use it to install NSPs. Like usual. Install it at a firmware below 7.0 before updating to 7.0.1. Goldleaf will install it just fine.

Or he can try the goldleaf (it's not official release, so expect some bugs, but it works ok for me). https://bsnx.lavatech.top/goldleaf/

The newer builds of Goldleaf work pretty well, but I still get some system crashes when quitting the app after installing. Xortroll is working on it, it seems to be some kind of libNX issue with 7.X. Dev Menu works perfectly, no crashing.

I can't tell you based on a file name along. Probably.

Ignore the other Dev Menu. Use the NSP. Use Goldleaf to install it.

Ok i will try goldleaf to install nsp.thanks a lot.for the moment i check how to install nsp with the firmware 7.1 some people report is unstable and crash.

Installing NSPs using Dev Menu on 7.0.1 (there is no 7.1) works great. Perfectly stable.
