I think FE12 (a remake of 3, on the DS) had an avatar. But "Fire Emblem" (FE7) for the GBA had one as well. In FE7 it's not even a playable character. I don't know about 12 as I haven't played it yet.Which game had the first?

I've heard that a lot, apparently they fixed everything that was wrong with Shadow Dragon when making FE12. Unfortunately I have to play through Shadow Dragon before 12 since it's the prequel :cFE12 was pretty awesome. There's a fan translation of it online somewhere. You couldn't customize your character quite as much, but it was a good start.

FE12 is so much better.I'm not too far yet, but I like it a lot. If you like Shadow Dragon even a bit, you'll love this one. Here's a link to the fan translation, if you want it: http://www.heroesofshadow.net/I've heard that a lot, apparently they fixed everything that was wrong with Shadow Dragon when making FE12. I mean it's not that bad, it just feels dull to me.

Shadow Dragon is pretty boring, but it's worth it to play the sequelI've heard that a lot, apparently they fixed everything that was wrong with Shadow Dragon when making FE12. Unfortunately I have to play through Shadow Dragon before 12 since it's the prequel :c

No.Wait wait wait, the DLC quests, you can only obtain the end quest items once? :o

Seriously, was it that much of a mindblown?MIND BLOWN
spoilers if you don't know about awakening's Marth.
The reason Lon'qu lost to "Marth" in the arena was because he noticed "he" was a woman during close combat and couldn't go on. I didn't even think of that!
And yeah it's read left to right for some reason. This is an official comic, btw.![]()

You're in the minority then, most people didn't know based on tumblr's reaction to it, lol. It is rather simple though,Seriously, was it that much of a mindblown?
Knowing Lon'qu's personality even I took a shot at guessing how he lost against "her". Turns out I was right. XD
They didn't "fix" anything, as FE11 was an incredibly faithful port, right down to using the exact same script as the 1990, bland release. Localizers tried to spiffy it up, but the script, level design, and game objective didn't change. FE12 had the benefit of working with an actual SNES sequel, which was more polished than the original, and also added several new elements in the remake that made it distinct from the original release.I've heard that a lot, apparently they fixed everything that was wrong with Shadow Dragon when making FE12.
