FINGERED: Binding of Issac/Super Meat boy Dev's Latest Title Launching Next Week

Edmund Mcmillen, developer of Binding of Issac and Super Meat Boy, is releasing his latest title next week on August 18th on Steam. If you buy the game, you can expect "21 levels of confusion, a few billion randomly generated people to finger/murder, barking, loads of secret celebs to murder, finding yourself in the criminal data base, buttons, sounds, and menus."

Described as a police "whodunnit" style of game, Fingered is well... quite difficult to put our finger on. The trailer is mostly psychedelic colors and strange ambient effects. But if Mcmillens track record is anything to go by, it could be another great hit. The game will be $1.87, which is also the numerical code for homicide in the California penal code.

It's kind of a pedantic thing, but isn't Edmund the art/ideas guy, not technically the developer? Hence why Super Meat Boy, Binding of Isaac, Binding of Isaac Rebirth, and Fingered were all developed by different people/companies (and why the original BoI was such a nightmare of bloated Flash code)?

Also, it's Edmund, not Edward.

Yay for Edmund McMillen! He's basically the only guy who showed me that it's possible to make an engaging indie game that doesn't get old after 2 hours. Also BOI:R is my favorite game of all time so yea

    There was a comparison of the number of Ibuprofen poisonings before and after they limited the maximum dosage per box or per pill (i'll look that up). No limit on the number of boxes you can still buy as many as you want, so people argued it was pointless.

    But the number of (accidental) poisonings dropped because drinking an entire package of ibuprofen pills went from "I need a new liver" to "I need a new box of Ibuprofen".

    Here we have ketoprofen that used to be prescription-only because of the risk of toxic dosages, but then they halved the dose per pill and sell them in bottles of six pills apiece instead of twenty and it doesn't need a prescription any more. Yes you can buy more than one bottle but people simply don't.
