Hacking Finally...Wiikey works with SSBB!

Well, the Wiikey team has sent our company, www.ModchipCentral.com, a few Wiikeys with new firmware to test if they work with SSBB.

Installed it in a D2B wii, and insterted the original SSBB and to my surprise, it boots and plays perfectly fine. Now to get the firmware to a DVD update

At least the team is still alive and trying to get things to work

Why not? I mean, wouldn't making firmware and making the modchip be two entirely different processes that can be done at the same time? Granted it does sound odd that they would ship chips to retailers with the firmware on it before making it available.

i dont think theyd have 4 wiis lying around

Lots of retailers/distributors are receiving samples to test today/tomorrow. I guess we were just one of the first to test it out...
