So you might remember when I wanted to buy a PSP 2000 from one of my friends for $80 well he decided not to sell it for some reason. So then I just called one of my friends that I gave my old PSP 1000 to and asked if I can have it back and he gave it back to me since he didn't need it.

Anyways recommend me some homebrews and games! And are there any voice chat games for the PSP?

voice chat yeah, iirc socom fireteam bravo 2 has it, so im sure there are others

but psp1000 doesnt have a mic, you would have to buy one. (psp 3000 was the first to have a built-in mic.)

homebrew: check the stickies. mostly emulators and psptube are all i use.

The Sticky is outdated. PSPTube runs but in some videos its really bad like it freezes up and stuff or the video turns gray. I also have earphones that have a mic in it so I think I can use that.

It's probably worse than that of the DS, are you kidding? Games on the PSP got old really fast.

Alright just found out that Socom is a great online game that has voice chat. But can you voice chat with anyone or is it like the stupid Nintendo crap where you could only chat with your friend. And also socom fireteam bravo 3 doesn't have voice chat only the 2nd one has it?

Can you talk in game or only in the lobby?

Which FPS do you think I should download. Which is the best?

Syphon Filter: Combat Ops
Killzone
Socom Fireteam Bravo 3
resistance
Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops
Medal Of Honor Heroes 2.

first of all, most of those arent even fps's...

i highly recommend resistance retribution.

havent played any of the others. why dont you play mgs:pw... its amazing, so far...
Which aren't FPS lol? I want to mainly play the game online not story.
I am currently downloading socom fireteam bravo 2. 3 is to much MB...

MOH:H2 is the only game on that list that is actually a First Person Shooter.

the others are pretty much Third Person Shooters.

who cares about the size of the game. one can be assured that there are more people playing fireteam bravo 3 online still...

PSP 1000 does not support the mic. Even the PSP Camera's mic or the headset. Haven't you realised why PSP 1000 fw's doesn't have Skype? Microphone isn't supported.

You basically got ripped off (even if you got the psp for free xP)

EDIT: Ok.. Maybe the PSP Camera mic isn't supported but the Talkman and the PSP 1000 remote and you plug in the headset into the remote.
EDIT2: Or just plug a headset that supports those two ports joined together on the bottom of your psp 1000..seriously..a psp 2000 is hell less confusing.

Couldn't I just run the headphone that have a mic in them too. My earphones also have a button next to the mic.

EDIT: Monster Hunter for PSP isn't online. It is only online if you have a PS3.
