Hacking FINALLY!!! A Fix for The October 23d update!!!

Ok Guys , i had to remove that file in case it caused any issues , but i put up a now with WITH_out the IOS106 ... but im sure there may be one around WITH the file in it as well, but i cant give that link - you will have to do the math and try to find it on your own.

I have a BIG question!

I'm run the twilight princess hack few days ago. Just that!

The channel 9 was installed ( So far, So good!)

Wad installation after update the Wii Console, is causing several mistakes ... WAD files installation!

So This workaround -after intall the update 23Oct 2008 - on WII NTSC is unzip the files and :
- Put it on the SD and then load the New HomeBrew Channel 9 and
- Load the WADManager (new Wadmanager 1.3)
- Run the file cios_fix.wad ?

I'm very confused, I'm a Rookie.

Yes... it easy if you do it before updating, but the point of this thread is to recover Wiis after they updated!

try to install IOS16 again, I don't think you got it installed.

theres something seriously wrong cause i reinstalled IOS16.wad, and i would know how cause thats the only wad that will install...

there are two possible problems I can think of.

either you are trying to install the wads from USB, which could cause problems and is not recommended,

or you have a somewhat corrupted SD card, and just need a good format

if you are using USB, don't.

last ditch effort: try Wad Manager 1.21 for the first install, unless it's definitely installed already.

its not the memory card...cause i checked with other SD cards...and no luck...
and im not USING USB to load homebrew...

is the modified Wad manager to work with cIOS16 supposed to be Wad Mananger 1.3?

Too many people are questioning it non-stop, the answers are in previous posts, yet they don't read, they expect it to be on the last page which they've posted!
(The worlds most annoying thing is when someone believes they have a problem/issue with an app or something like this, due to the fact they haven't taken the time to read a Readme instruction file).

ok sorry, ive been looking for a way to downgrade all day, then i finally found this, i am trying to do this but i dont understand some things, thats why i need help on certain bits

Alright so I accidentally updated my wii to 3.3Uv2 or whatever the lastest update is. Then I followed a_running_pir8's tutorial and the wads installed successfully. I was able to downgrade to 3.1U but I still can't install wads, someone suggested I try installing IOS30 and IOS36 so I tried to install those wads and it gave me an error when I tried to. Does anyone know what I could do to get my wii to install game wads again? I'm using Homebrew Channel 9 and wad manager 1.3 and I did use that wad manager that works off of ios16 to install cios_fix.wad. And I used wad manager 1.3 when I attempted to install IOS30 and IOS36. I also used downgrader 1.2 to downgrade. One other thing the hand pointer in my homebrew channel is giving me the middle finger instead of using it's index finger to point at things, is that bad?

Guys so I'm stuck in a loop here,
I installed the 3.3v2 patch before ever starting homebrew and such.
Since then I installed the HBC 0.9 and the IOS16 with the WAD Manager 1.3, then I installed the cIOS_fix with the IOS16 Wad Manager and it installed ok.
But now I still get this two sentences overlayed while loading a burned ISO in the backup loader 1.3 beta.
I allready put my booktype on DVD-ROM, I'm burning on Platinum DVD+R with IMGburn
Windows Vista doesnt read my DVD's btw, but when I do a sector view with IMGburn i see data.
Could it be my Backuploader 1.3 doesnt work or is my burned DVD not right?
I'm trying Zack and Wiki btw.
Hope someone could give me some pointers to what I could be doing wrong here.
