I know how you feel spent 4 hours trying to get it to work with XP finally decided to install dual boot with win 7 wish I could find something besides that to help

I try to working on a solution for him, I can imagine he has the urge to play this game, gonna help him out somehow

Also I'm stuck with XP SP3 32-bit right now. If the patcher won't work on XP, that's why I'm asking for manual instructions if possible.

Confirmed issue:

- The automatic patcher crashes when using any iteration of Windows XP.
- Solution: Manual patching is possible for those of you using Windows XP - we apologize for not providing an immediate way to do so, as no one on the team had XP available to test the patcher. If you are running Windows XP, already have a copy of the game, and cannot run the patcher, please PM me for further instructions and I will provide files and instructions to perform a manual patch, and walk you through the process. EDIT: To anyone having issues running it on PPSSPP, build 0.9.8-1088-ga31194e runs the game flawlessly for me. Try that.

um I don't see that one I only see ppsspp-v0.9.8-1088-ga31194a & I just got the update for my android even though I had 1 from a few days ago working flawlessly for me. BUt Im updating since I read it works better.
Can you tell me where that 1 is? I would like to get it.

I think the game runs also well by default, you do not have to do a lot of tweaking when playing Type Zero on PPSSPP on PC or Android.

sweet so I'll just update my PPSSPP and if it crashes I'll try the default settings. Just to make sure since I never had
PPSSPP working until recently with the tweets. I'm to lazy to try it on my psp yet since I bring my phone every where & am going to play it at work

And for the merging iso, do I need to use the cwcheat codes to switch between the 2 discs or should I not bother with it.

Made this account a good while ago because i knew i'd want to post on/frequent this site one day. I figured now is as good a time as any to start. Thanks guys for putting all this effort into translating this monster of a game. Really appreciate it.

If doing things the manual way doesn't work out too well for some reason, i'd be happy to try and upload my iso somewhere(that site Mega seems pretty good) for you. Last time i checked, my upload speed is pretty decent.

No cheats neccesary, both discs are getting merged into one.

and yes I gave the news team the downlow on what can and can not work so far

No PS3 unless a dev unlocks the emu
