This really bugs me. I had hyped myself up for the translation and now I can't even apply the patch itself, despite spending the better part of the day downloading the patch. And for what? So it can just crash and crash and crash?

Now I'm kinda depressed, honestly. All y'all havin' fun playin' the game and I can't be one of 'em. :c

Is there a way for me to manually apply the patch, cause I really don't mind doin' that. Everything seems fine, it's just the automatic patcher that refuses to work.

What OS do you use for patching?

Try running the patcher as an administrator, or if the iso you're trying to apply the patch to has any funny characters just change it to something simple like "finalfantasy" and try to apply the patch then.

Also I'm stuck with XP SP3 32-bit right now. If the patcher won't work on XP, that's why I'm asking for manual instructions if possible.

Okay, that explains it, guess you have to use W7 or W8, or try installing .NET Framework 2.0.

Well I already have .NET Framework 2.0. Already had it, since I tried downloading it just now and it said I already had it installed.

Which means what? I can never play this translation ever cause my OS refuses to work with the patcher? Why can't I just bypass the patcher and apply everything to the ISO myself?

Kira, does multiplayer work at all? Me and my brother were trying to play but couldn't figure it out.

Hold on let me try it, I'll just boot it up again, I'm curious myself.

Or somebody could upload the finished iso for you, would be the only solution.

Only solution? You make it sound like it's impossible for me to manually apply it.

And yeah, if I actually can't manually apply the patch myself (despite having the merged iso prepared for months) I guess I'll just have to scrap that and wait.

Bah. This seems entirely unfair since I'm too poor to afford a machine that can run a newer OS. :\

Online doesn't seem to work, I enabled the WLAN option in PPSSPP, not working.

I just tried to rename the .patch file into .rar or .gzip, no dice, you only have the option to patch the game with the .exe.
Sorry, that I do not have better news for you :/.

Okay, so the installer is really W7 or W8 only, weird.
Maybe Sky can do something ?

Well good for you. You have W7. I'm glad that people with Windows 7 can use the patcher while I'm stuck on a shitty obsolete OS that can't use it.

Have fun with the game though. Wish I could join you. :\
I know how you feel spent 4 hours trying to get it to work with XP finally decided to install dual boot with win 7 wish I could find something besides that to help

Well it seems that I'm wholly reliant on waiting until someone else is generous enough to share a patched ISO with me, since it seems it is literally impossible for me to do this myself in any way shape or form because of the OS I have.

And no, you don't know how I feel. You had the option to boot into an OS that works. I lack that choice.
