Would it be possible to add the whole team to the credits? Or, if that's not possible, doing something like the thing truthkey did in KH BBS, where he added "Translated by Truthkey" to the picture in the main menu. I think you guys deserve that :)

Well a pair of things:

-Thanks for the tip on the user on my blog, I'll take care of that in a moment.
-More importantly:

*I've just compiled the first beta containing all translated texts. THANKS GOD optimizations were enough and it boots in English, with no problems.
*The game plays OK in the emulator, but I haven't had a chance to test it deeper (I'm currently busy with college assignments, oh, well...)
*I'll be compiling some more beta's, fixing minor stuffs, like word wrapping, font mapping, etc.. making sure everything looks perfect, before starting the actual beta testing.
*But yeah, the game is playable in English as of now ^^

Man I'm so excitebike for this thing. :D

*** Videos are only place names and time stamps, things that could be translated within hours, we just haven't found the proper way to put them back to the PSP without sacrificing quality.
***As for credits, they can be put into the game, we discussed where we should do it or not in early stages of the project, but we haven't decided it yet. We also discussed adding more stuff like director's interview and some other media to the Crimson Codex of the game, but since that's part of the secondary text (which is static in memory) it could cause problems if we put too much stuff (I had to code memory optimizations for something, and now that the game runs ok translated, it would be a shame to break it again, overloading it with crap lol).

Do like Truth did make it on the game load screen:wink:
that is how he did it

Yeah, that's also part of the secondary text (of course, there won't be memory problems before actually translating a big part of it). Also, it kinda feels like the translation is not so official anymore, with credits there. My original idea was to have then unlocked after completed the game, as an added entry in the Crimson Codex, and with messages from the team for the fans. But as I said, that's something that still remains on the table.

If he's spamming comments, just disable comments. It's not like anyone has anything useful to contribute, anyways.

Many people have issues with the merging files, and many more will have problems with the patch, I'm sure. You may not care to help, but the comments do serve a purpose.

Not to point out but like is this useful either :wtf:

Sorry about that could not resist worthless post about supposed worthless posts

I'm sorry, but that could be potentially useful as it can stop the team from having to deal with idiots and concentrate on what they want to do.

I can see one use to the comments system, and it's to congratulate and encourage the team. Hopefully their spirits are kept high and they feel loved. :)
They are not your personal technicians. They won't tell you how to find PSP ISOs. They won't let your eight-year-old self translate. They're just trying to show the world some love, let them do it.

That's my view. I apologize if some of you were offended, but my intention is not to block the 2-3 intelligent comments out there, but to block the zombie wave.
