Rem's MP is high for a reason. Even if it does seem ridiculous.
 
Of course this is all speculation right now but, if you wanted you could do two versions.
One that's custom modified stats and another that is just the translation. It's pretty sweet that you guys managed to figure out how to edit the various stats. Hell even releasing mod tools so people could do their own custom version (stats and what not) would be pretty nice, assuming such a thing would be possible and not take years to make.
 
Well if we really wanted to we could probably make the story revolve on becoming the super bagel comprised of the mightiest butter however our priority is to give FF fans everywhere the chance to enjoy a new FF in english after the long Lightning Storm they have had to endure.

On-Topic: I'm really looking forward to the next update. :) Been wanting to play this game for quite some time, but not knowing Japanese makes it kinda hard. Anyway, good luck with your project!

Since things got so sidetracked with AoQ being such a dickwad for so long, can we get a update on how things are progressing? Just a rough estimate, I'm not asking for a release timeframe or anything, just some general info like how much of the game is translated, how much of the script is inserted, etc.

I think some months ago Sky mentioned the existence of a debug room as a passing mention.
Is that room functional (or just my hazy memory)? Because that would be highly unusual for Square to leave their stuff in the final builds.
I'd like to know how you managed to edit the eboot file since it has some sort of encryption. That would be very interesting!

Debug rooms and menus are actually fairly common in final builds of games, including Squeeeeenix's.

If someone does have some more info on it, I'll share it with The Cutting Room Floor, a wiki dedicated to documenting and preserving unused, interesting, or odd things left in videogames.
 
Via rom hacking there are actually debug rooms. If you have more interest in what it entails, feel free to PM me and I'll talk about it a bit. You can't normally access them.

Actually there is lot... and I mean A LOT of unused content in the game's data, not only debug rooms, but also unused summons, enemies, and even alternative character 3D models (the ones they made for the mobile version of Agito still in the ISO and can be previewed... But your missing nothing since they look like crap compared to the final models ^^").

Most FF game come with debug rooms and unused stuff of some sort, accessible via either romhacking or cheats, but Type-0 has a bigger amount of inaccessible data and it's funny to tinker with all that xD

Summons? Which ones?

Typhon, Pandemona, Nemesis(Original Summon), Phoenix, GILGAMESH(was at one point planned as a special summon, you called for his aid instead of actually summoning a eidolon)

Typhon, Pandemona, and Nemesis had finished models, Phoenix was an unfinished model.

It also seems at one point Titan was considered but they went for Golem instead.

Summons also had dialogue but it was scrapped. That's right, Ifrit, Odin, GILGAMESH, and the others would actually say a phrase when summoned.

Unused enemies as well such as a Mecha Behemoth.

Lots of cool stuff really.
