Longest game series? Someone hasn't been paying attention to the yearly sports game releases. ;P

And can you count how many Mega Man games there are?

Let's see how well I can do. This is not counting ports, by the way. =P

Eight in the original series
One side game (Megaman & Bass)
Another Japan-only game Rockboard
Megaman Battle & Chase
Five Megaman Gameboy games (Rockman World)
One PSP remake
One official? game (Rockman Tactics, Chinese)
Two oddball PC games (Megaman, Megaman III)
One compilation with new content (The Wily Wars)

Eight in the X series
One side game (Command Mission)
Two Gameboy games (Xtreme)
One PSP remake

Two in the Legends series
One side game (Misadventures of Tron Bonne)

Four in the Zero series

Two in the ZX series

Six in the Battle Network series, or up to ten counting different "versions" (Blue/White, Red Sun/Blue Moon, Protoman/Colonel, Gregar/Falzar)
Two side games (Network Transmission, Battlechip Challenge)
One half-version (4.5)

Two in the Starforce series

I honestly believe I missed more than a few up there, but yes, point taken. XD Oh yeah, I checked http://www.mmhp.net/GameHints/GameList.html and I completely forgot the arcade games, the Wonderswan ports, and a ton of others.
And still this comes nowhere close to the number of ports and remakes and everything that Mario has. Good God.

Final Fantasy CC series has potential, but it's hindered by the stupidity of the AI and the awful stories. Also, in the DS version magic and clan abilities are slow and a waste of time.
