It's been a while since I last posted here, but I come back for undubs once in a while.

I haven't tested this very far at all, but it works in the intro.

Unpack using ndstool
Code:
ndstool -x file.nds -9 arm9.bin -7 arm7.bin -y9 y9.bin -y7 y7.bin -d data -y overlay -t banner.bin -h header.bin
Move data/voice from the Japanese version to the American version.
Code:
ndstool -c output.nds -9 arm9.bin -7 arm7.bin -y9 y9.bin -y7 y7.bin -d data -y overlay -t banner.bin -h header.bin

Enjoy.

is japanese voices so cool?

Nope, they're for the fanboys.
What about the fangirls? ;_;

goku is being voiced by a woman in jap version

Well personally, I felt that the Crisis Core English version was better than the Japanese version. Hard to believe, but at least Zack sounded more.....masculine in the English one. And by masculine I don't mean deep bodybuilder tough guy voice, but not as....fruity as the Japanese one.

Hmm, I downloaded ndstool, but it closes as soon as I open it. I really don't want to play listening to these voices

the english in FFIV is way better than that of megaman BN5.
altough that one has crappy voices in every version(english:lan and megaman sound like bodybuilders, japanese:they sound like women)

this game definately doesn't need an undub to enjoy.

Japanese voices are usually better because they put more feeling to it, while english dubs just reads off the script and not even try. Its more obvious in animes though.

it's a command line application. Assuming you are running windows based on your situation, Start, Run, cmd

Or you can use dslazy and avoid all that.

I haven't got the occasion the play the game yet (I've ordered it, but i'm in Italy XD) so I don't know that: are the movies (CG movies) which are dubbed in english subbed in english too? Because listen japanese voices could be cool, but if I can't understand a damn it's... quite.... stupid.

Could anyone made FF4 UNDUB work on G6 Lite? The game doesnt boot at all but works all ok on any of the USA/JAP scene releases.

Any ideas? ARM7 Fix and everything else fails here.

Hey guys, thanks so much for this. I do have a question though. I was comparing the US and Japanese voice files and it seems the US voice files has a few more files than the Japanese, should I just leave it? Well, it might be too late now, I deleted those extra files and just copy and pasted the Japanese voice files over the English ones.
