Hacking Final Fantasy IV help.

So here's the deal, i got an R4(its not a clone) and every game that i put in it plays fine. My problem come when im trying to play FF IV. I play the game for some time then i go and save. Every time i turn off my DS the save file disappears. I took out the memory card and the .SAV file was still there.


Can anyone help me out?
