Japanese magazine Jump has revealed a new multiplayer action RPG from Square Enix, based on the Final Fantasy series. Players will be able to choose from several job roles, including Black Mage, White Mage, Knight and Monk.

Jump says that many Jobs from the Final Fantasy series will be present in Final Fantasy Explorers. Parties can consist of up to four players, and you’ll need to use each Job effectively to take on the enemy. The goal of the campaign is to defeat the different generations of Summons.

so it's a action RPG using final fantasy's name. Final Fantasy is a turn based RPG..... Some one needs to remind square .

:blink::blink::blink::blink::blink::blink::blink::blink::blink::blink::blink::blink::blink::blink::blink::blink::blink: you may want to try and play that game before you post a comment like that......
Mind you was a terrible turn base system, in my opinion.

Seriously, remove Vaan from FFXII and it's a solid game. The gameplay is quite nice and the story isn't that bad if Vaan is removed from the game.

As for the reveal, I'm good to go for an FF game for the 3DS. Always ready for new games :)

Seems interesting.
Needs more Crystal Chronicles though.

Turn based is archaic and only a few devs can actually properly do it these days. Final Fantasy as a whole has awful turn based combat. It's a very good thing for them to move away from it.

Vaan does literally nothing to the story of XII
its all Ashe
Dont know why Vaan is the MC

Indeed. But the voice acting is present for most the game. But I digress. I still like FFXII, since the gameplay in general is solid. If they made a remake for XII, I'd buy it sooner than I bought FFX/X-2 HD.

If this game is like Crystal Chronicles I am buying it. Been waiting for a long time.

@BigOnYa, doesnt the game have a campaign mode?
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Yea, and co-op, but you can also start a pvp session and battle just with friends. You get special skill cards (powers) the more you play. And higher value cards, but you can only enable so many cards at a time.

If you can find enough for it

Toilet paper is considered the money, you collect and buy stuff with TP, kinda funny. Graphics are def better than the other games tho, I think they used Unity 5 engine.

I bet most people at the time still watched it in black and white
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, Many of them did before colour television was common.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Likely because black and white TV was in-expensive.

  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
It certainly wasn't inexpensive it cost the same as a new car back then
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
How much did a 1965 color TV cost?

For example, a 21-inch (diagonal) GE color television in 1965 had an advertised price of $499, which is equal to $4,724 in today's dollars, according to the federal government's inflation calculator.

  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@K3Nv2, take into consideration how economy was back then
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
Yeah that's why they listed inflation rates
