I just tested it on mine, works okay for the start anyway.

My Gear -
DS Phat
M3 Real Perfect Bundle
Final Fantasy Echo (U) ROM
16GB SDHC Card.

Look and download another rom for it.

ur supposed to patch is with dsatm to include the anti-piracy cheat.

Yea i have Sakura, hence why it worked for meh (:

FFCC EoT (US) works fine with M3 Real Firmware 4.3a X (including wi-fi play)
Do not use the bypass cheat with this firmware version.
Soft reset must be disabled.

Or, as it's been mentioned, EoT also runs under Sakura.
