i don't know about wifi, cube FFCC was more about synchronised button pressing so I have no idea how you'd do that without a channel for communication - voice com would still have lag.

I bet it uses a modified version of the FFIII engine. I know that Chocobo Tales does. It seems as though they are trying to milk as much use out of this engine as possible, to save on production costs.

yeah it does,

it wouldn't be feasible if you develope an engine and only use it for one game (it would never of been done if it was only for FF 3) imo FF3 was a test bed for the engine.

I heard that your characters age as the game goes on, so who knows, maybe the game will be less "kiddy" later on? I'm gonna get this game regardless though.
