Homebrew Filling both screens while using homebrews

Hello,

Is there a way to fill the other screen (just a picture would be fine) while using something like an emulator on my 3ds? I have been trying to find a thread about that but no luck so far. Did anybody try to solve that?

Why would you want this? As I see it. its nothing but something for the battery to drain quicker from having to display that all the time.

I just hate having one screen pitch black while using the other. It is in fact more distracting than having anything at all. At least in the virtual console you have something on it
