my one does stick out a bit is there any guide at all on how to file it down, without unscrewing it then putting it back on, because i saw a method on the sosuke forum that involved that and i don't want to open up my EZ IV already.

There isn't a guide. However the method used on the unoffical forum, sosuke's, requires you to open the cart to file inside too so the pcb would fit.
