Got my Ez flash up and running but saves dont seem to stay when i restart my ds. Do i have to add anything to the root of the card like a save database? any help is appriciated

My guess is it's a NYE or "New Year Edition" (came with stylus and stuff in a blue box)

I have the old version and it works like a charm but bought 2 NYE for friends and they have so much trouble with it that I feel bad for recommending it.

Or, I also heard that if you use flash memory, it can act as more "RAM" at least windows tell me when I stick a flash drive into it. -
