Hacking Few questions abt M3i for 3DS

Hey guys I've just bought a 3DS and I've a working M3i for my DSLite. (1)Do i need to flash AGAIN for it to work on 3DS?
(2) I've lost the USB cable used on M3i cart, what should i do

You need to update the fcore to the newest one. You may also need to install some SD memory fix before doing the fcore update. I had to.
If you have any soldering skills you could crack the cartridge open and solder a usb power cord into it to do the update. I seen a tutorial on here somewhere showing exactly how to do it.
