The bitflag for staff usage makes it so that the character can use staves in any class, even if the class can already use 3 weapons. Since no other character has anything similar to this, no other bitflags of the same variety exist.

I.. I can't tell if you're agreeing or disagreeing with me. I just thought that with this staff flag, we can get even closer to FE4 style Master Knights.

Nohr Noble: Swords, Tomes, Dragonstone, Stave (lol rip Hoshido Noble's usage)
Great Knight/Master of Arms: Swords, Axes, Lances, Staves (this one seems pretty bad actually, there aren't many units who could pull this off. Maybe Dwyer would like it)
Dread Fighter: Swords, Axes, Hidden Weapons, Staves (this one seems pretty broken)

sign me up for that Nohr Noble with staves action though

Sorry if you felt like I was unclear. I wrote the post more towards the one you replied to. Not sure why I quoted you.

You can let a class use as many weapons as they want. They aren't limited to three.

The UI can only display the first three weapon levels though but they can still use the rest of the weapons.

you're that guy on the subreddit? That's awesome. Though the cropping on the portrait could be better, he looks too far over IMO.

If you let a different class use beaststones, would that still count towards the "only allowed this many beasts or you get shadowbanned" count? ...Actually, if you let a non-Wolfskin or Kitsune class use a beaststone, what would the character even transform into?

Do I sense custom dlc approaching? Or just a private project?

Both I guess. Though it's going to be a while since I need to finish the map sprites and kind of want 3d models.

Face sprite is more of a placeholder right now. I kind of want to use the cipher art for him.

I was going to suggest that actually. Looks really cool though. Too bad there isnt really a model for him, due to the nature of Awakening's spotpass units..

It would be complicated. To make a class that can wield stones you'd likely have to set it's asset ID to use the appropriate beast/dragon assets. Maybe. The game has a slight chance of having default models for the beasts. Another possibility is that the character simply wouldn't transform. In that scenario it would just use the mercenary animations, albeit without a sword. Looks kinda funny imo. I had a character who did that once and he just kind of smacked the opponent.

No idea to be honest.

While I was importing Gaius, somehow I made him a valla unit, so instead of deleting him while updating his block, I changed the character ID from Gaius to Caeldori and apparently the effect stuck somehow.

...so, by that logic, you may be able to remove the Vallite effect by replacing existing characters? ...Huh.

Sorry if this has been answered before, but are there any ways to remove the stat cap when editing stats?
I want more speed for a few of my characters
Thank you in advance

Ok so this is way outta my league, if anyone with save editing experience could help, this would be amazing.

I want to figure out which bytes exactly my old Gaius had that made him a Vallite, they apparently stuck around on the character block in the save so they were handed over to Caeldori when I changed the character ID, if anybody could figure out exactly which bytes cause this it'd be useful for future reference.

Here's the unit file for anyone who wants to poke around.

...the one after may be like, movement or something, but I've not touched it, also, the order I've written may be slightly wrong, but those bytes should cover all the stats anyway.

Oooh, sounds like this will be fun. I mean, I doubt i'll find anything, but worth a shot.
