Hacking fatal frame 4 problems with 0.3 gamma

i burned a copy of fatal frame 4, and try to play it with backup launcher 0.3 gamma.
it works fine with default setting. however, when i tried to force it to PAL 60hz in order to get a color screen on my pal console.
it went dead. does any one know any solution to this. thanks ever so much.
