hi i just got my gateway 3ds card and a sandisk 32gb card i was trying to put donkey kong returns on the memroy card but its 4gb limit with fat32 im trying to format the card in winows xp to exfat but wont format it any idears cheers

Windows XP might not support exFat so I don't think you'll get that option. I could be wrong though. Try formatting in a Windows 7 PC.
you can use the gateway rom splitter in the firmware download....or trim the game, either one will allow you to keep homage to XP 
I guess it's true what they say: You cant help who (what) you love.i have vista win 7 and win 8 but i just loooovvvvveeee xp lol
