Hacking Fasthax redscreen

Hello.

A friend of a friend of mine is following Plailect guide and he has a New3DS.

He has to boot into Decrypt9.
Fasthax boots fine, but once he presses start as prompted he gets a red screen on the bottom screen and a black screen on the top one.

Should he keep trying or is there a way to fix/a reason for this error?

1. Copy Decrypt9WIP.bin from the Decrypt9WIP .zip to the root of your SD card and rename Decrypt9WIP.bin to safehaxpayload.bin

Btw yes. He renamed the file.

What homebrew method are you using. Soundhax? And it seems like fasthax prefers a cart to be in the console when you're running it

I honestly can't believe they switched to the 2-app method when it's still so unstable.

Should he just switch the safehax.3dsx with this one you provided and try again? What about the cartridge? Should he remove it?

Try it. I used Ninjhax but try steelhax

Nah probably not. The guide has the most up to date method

Zero to none. Once devs get caught up in the "best practices" mentality, they become surprisingly unpragmatic and uncompromising.
Plailect probably will take the safe route and go with the exploit dev's recommendations, and that's usually the wisest path - except for this time.

the first one im trying to hack my brother N3ds on 11.2-35u and it hang on red screen i even install steelhax i don't know what iv miss im familiar with 3ds hack and i m completely unable to do anything...

Some other guy had this too it was fixed by doing this to get to decrypt 9 it seems like plaitaclect's (I totally spelled that wrong) way isnt working with a lot of people.

Which first one? Can you be more specific? The red screen situation only applies when Safehax/Fasthax is launched as others have reported.

i used the one provided by moger.net (zoogie's build) and i found it was very succesful as long as you had a cart and a n3ds
