Fans attempt to recreate Megaman Legends 3

Of course Guild is here to put his two cents in. I'm just gonna breath in and move on.

Yay, Legends 3 stuff. Anything Megaman related (even though there's no actual Megaman in Legends 3) is a welcomed sight. We Megaman fans get crap for years while they release stuff like DmC, a dozen different Street Fighter IV's, etc. I would love to see where this project goes. Mighty No. 9 definitely looks interesting (even with that whole crazy mess that happened with the forum moderator), but it's no ML3.

To all of you going "lol cease and desist lol", you forget that Capcom already has taken fan-games before as a "labor of love" (aka so we don't have to do it. lol). Besides... This is a good way of "getting fans to shut up about fucking Megaman".

I'm pretty pumped about this since I'm a big MML fan. I think I'm gonna go replay MML2 now.

Capcom never sent C&D for any fangame besides Ghosts N Goblins kickstarter but that was because it was unauthorized sequel that wanted to cash in on their IP. What were they thinking with kickstarter anyways? I don't blame Capcom for that.

For non profit games, if they sent C&D and if developers ignored it, the outcome in court is questionable since Japanese copyright laws are different than US ones for start, and didn't Capcom said themselves before that all Legends 3 stuff are free for use? Barrett and Aero original models were even posted by them since they had no plans for them.
