The Sonic and Persona are pretty bad off the top of my head. I love Persona but the fanbase is always arguing over their favorite waifus! (Lame!)

As for awful fandoms... Sonic takes the cake, though runs pretty close with My Little Pony. As awful as the Kingdom Hearts peasants are, they can't even touch that.

In all fairness, fandoms are inherently awful things.

Honestly though, every fandom has black sheep in it. Actually, most fandoms consist almost exclusively of black sheep.

Not everyone who likes Sonic is awful, of course, but man... there's a reason that Deviantart: The Game is a thing.

Fans are reasonable; fandoms are horrible cancerous masses.

Gahars pls. Im sure if youd just read my OC bio youd understand that my Soic OC is much more realistic in the universe then most OC's.

Kingdom hearts "peasants"..... I do not know from where you come but around here they usually manifest as zombies

On Sonic I could have continued being blissfully unaware of things, give or take the occasional "but Sonic Adventure was a classic" episode, but then Gahars had to link up http://gbatemp.net/threads/original-the-character-donut-steel.361603/ .

For my money it is Smash Bothers competitive scene, by all means like the game and it is a halfway competent example of the crossover fighting game thing.... however if you are going to try to tell me it is a viable tool for competition, or alternatively you reckon those that do competition with it do it well, then we will have issues. Pokemon competitive is not far behind but those people are usually tolerable.

An unusual one was the time I ended up in the Final Fantasy 7 retranslation circles..... I can not even describe it. The amount of whine about nothing was nothing short of epic.

Oh and I am sure I would add the DOTA/MOBA lot to this list, mainly for similar reasons to my dislike of Smash Brothers competitive (most of DOTA/MOBA seems to be a celebration of bad game design like Smash Brothers competitive is a celebration of bad tournament/competition design). However I stay out of those circles.
