So I just bought a bunch of Pokemon GBA games from a dutch ebay esque site and they turned out to be fake. Pretty good ones at that, these are all using some weird saving method where they freeze during saving and say the usual "Previous savefile will be loaded. They game is playable." message. Is there any downside/risk to these cartridges other than that you can't use palpark? Can they link with real cartridges?
Also, are these "new" fakes? I've never seen them like this before, and usually fakes in my country are spanish, french or german so it's weird to see these pop up.
