I've never messed with the internals of my unpatched v1 switch. I rebooted to payload (hekate) to update Hekate/Atm for the 16.0.1 FW and I got this funny error about being unable to init eMMC. Hekate wouldn't even read the eMMC in the Console Info tab.
I just shrugged copied the new Hekate and Atmosphere files onto the SD card, rejigged, updated FW (with Daybreak) and everything now seems fine on 16.0.1. Console info in Hekate shows the eMMC, nothing runs slow, no funny errors.
Is there any easy way to check if the eMMC is going to fail soon? Some smartmontools equivalent for Switch?
