ROM Hack Failed! Input checksum is invalid.

Well, I recently downloaded the Pokemon Mega Power ROM Hack for Emerald, but whenever I try to patch up the .ups file with a Emerald .gba file, it keeps saying: Failed! Input checksum is invalid. I don't know why this is happening, and I've tried using all the available options on tsukyomi but nothing seems to work! Could anybody please help me? I have tried downloading a bunch of Emerald .gba files of the internet, but nothing seems to work :( Please help me!

    only ps5 updated to latest firmware can go on psn, jailbroken ones just don't use psn or they risk getting flagged or banned, altho spouting profanity in online play alredy does that
