My thoughts about fail0verflow clarification:
I think the big rectangles are the WiiU's processors.
The A I think is the GPU Starbuck since it has two cores.
The B rectangle may be the CPU called Espresso, and the "14 days" and the "30" days are two cores of it (maybe these two ones are used on the Games) and finally the "?" one may be the third core (used by the system?).

I want to play this game too.

I'll guess it's not the CPU, but A = WiiU and B= GamePad.
the little "?" is the black square on the left hand of Reggie shown on the picture they released?
Though, they released it on december 18, it's not 30 days on the european WiiU release, except if the 30 days of B refers to the USA's WiiU launch. in which case A = EU, B=USA. But then, Day14 wouldn't match anything (except if they waited on 14dec to release info found 14 days after USA launch)

Top date is WiiU, bottom one is the pad.
Horizontal arrows communicated in both direction (similar exploit?) and vertical arrows only in one direction (Console sending to the pad)
Things done on A at a date was done on B on the corresponding date?

It looks like I'm bad a the "guess what it is" game after all.

Could be anything, just invent it like I did :P

You're all ignoring the other big `clue` they gave you; Every single pixel is important.

So the Question-Mark is that Renesas-Chip on the Espresso what i assume is the Security-Chip (aka. Starbuck as Marcan called it) akin to the one the Wii (aka. Starlet) had ?

In a chess commentary the ? represents a wrong move or a possible mistake.
So it's a bad error that ninty made on arm side IMO.
Thanks for pointing that out. I was thinking about that third die on the big chip and what it does. Guess we will find out;-) I went into a room with one member and it was not in the general "#wiiudev" room so I thought that was private.

There is no Troll Face, he is just trolling you.
trollface is definitely there
Code:
<vaati> sven: is there a message stego'd in it?
<@sven> as i said, every single pixel matters.
<@sven> that's all i'm gonna say.
<Yossi> O_O transparency
<Yossi> between box A and box B
<@sven> hah.

@xBASSxMONSTAx
You've edited your post already but gamepad is definitely not involved
Code:
<GeekShado> so A is Wii U gamepad, and B the console
<GeekShado> Wii U gamepad was hacked before matching days
<@sven> the picture is not related to the gamepad
<@marcan> the gamepad is being pwned by other people ;)

And finally they exactly know what's the '?' thus reinforcing my idea that they used chess notation
Code:
<neimod> let me know when you figure out how "?" works ;-)
<@marcan> we know exactly how it works :P

@Xdqwerty, Don't use games that have Easy Anti-Cheat as its been exploited many times.

@SylverReZ, I also heard one of the Prince of Persia games was so unfinished that it required the "24/7 online" drm so a puzzle could be done and the game could be finished. And that when the Ubisoft servers were closed the (cracked) game was impossible to finish or something like that
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, That's extra scummy. Ubisoft nowadays ship out incomplete games like Skull and Bones which was being worked on for nearly a decade now.

I like that games can be fixed after the fact, hate that it's being abused via beta tests... And DLC... I was a 7800 owner back in the day and loved Impossible Mission, turns out I couldn't beat it because it was actually impossible lol
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I never knew about it at the time but a fixed version was available but you had to mail in your broken copy lol
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
So that version is semi rare
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@Psionic Roshambo, I have a rom of the ds version of impossible mission
