Factory reset / wipe modded switch

Hello together,

got a v2 switch with a sx core chip, sysnand and emunand.

I think about getting a switch 2 and sell the switch.

How do i wipe it properly, without bricking it?

Update atmosphere+hekate (both not up to date atm), update sysnand, factory reset sysnand, wipe sd card and copy clean atmosphere+hekate files on it?

Before deleting anything, note that the sx core chip is really old and has its own binary (boot.dat) and serial numbers.
Make a backup of your SD card and do not update your firmware yet.

It is not as simple as just wiping everything and putting back the latest Hekate and Atmosphere.
There are some topics here on GBATemp on how to update it.

You could also try to just add a new profile.
If that works, delete the old profile and delete all games.
All local save files are in your current profile so if you delete that and the games, then all is clean.
