Facebook announced today that they will begin rolling out multi-account and app sharing on Oculus Quest 2 devices.
When the update rolls out for Quest 2 users (First, Quest 1 users will receive the update at a later unspecified date) up to 3 accounts can play the same apps as the original owner.
Eventually, you can setup a primary Quest device and have multiple different quest devices to share the same apps.
According to Facebook its a system to "Prevent piracy"
Earlier in 2020, it was also announced that Facebook was working closely with the popular sideloading platform "Sidequest" to bring it as a feature to the oculus quest for testing as well as experiences not accepted into the oculus store.

A restriction that had no business existing and was there purely because DRM is cool yo is being partially sorted?
Yay.
