Hacking EZflash 3-in-1 rumble not working?

Got my EZ 3-in-1 just today. Using it with an R4, I decided to try using its rumble for once. I set it using GBA ExpLoader 0.2 and tried Metroid Prime Hunters. In options it clearly saw the rumble and set it to ON. But I got no shakey action. Then I tried DiagnoSe and pressed A during the rumble test. Not even a sound let alone any movement. Any ideas?

Did it rumble when you set it in Exploder? If not, then there's something wrong with yer rumble. (It's now a 2 in 1 =P)

It didn't. Heh, I guess so. Not like I really want to use rumble anyway but still...?
