A few fixes
The EZTeam have released another update for the EZ5 resetsp.bin (responsible for game fixes, soft reset and allowing cheats).

The list is now up to 2631 - Blue Dragon Plus (Japan) and has fixes for 2625 - Viva Pinata Pocket Paradise (Europe) and 2631 - Blue Dragon Plus (Japan).

I appreciate the support and the quick responses, but overall 2 updates in as many days is kind of a bad thing. Why are all these games not working? The EZ-5 used to be the reliable old dog that would almost guarantee to boot anything. I want clean mode back.

Yeah ! me too. But don't forget one thing. This file is for the softreset mode.
Games works if it's not enabled.

I don't care about softreset and cheat mode ...
