Hi, I recently bought an EZ 4 and am having some issues saving.
The card has no problem keeping the save in RAM but when I switch games; the save file it writes is 0kb and I lose all my progress.
I tried buying a new minisd (1gb sandisk from amazon) but have the same issue.

Do you think the cart is bad?
I use it strictly for gba games in a AGS-101

Your problem looks like this. Rename your games and existing saves to a 8.3 format. Example: My Love for You is so Big that it Makes this Game's Name Ridiculously Large - Extended Edition.{gba,sav} -> bigluv.{gba,sav}

I've tested many games and they never save.
  • I tried the 8.3 naming convention
  • I rolled back to 1.6.
  • I exchanged my cart thinking it was faulty
  • I bought a new 1 gb mini-sd from Amazon.
I still can't save. :( I created a txt doc and renamed it to .sav and put it in the Saver folder ( eightpt3.gba and eightpt3.sav) and that made the save file show sizes 8kb, 32kb, etc... but when I switch games and come back my save still isn't there.

Does anybody know how to make it save?
