Hacking Ez flash vi cheats help

I've already gotten the cheats dat file onto my card and most of the cheats work just fine but I want to add my own custom cheats and I have no idea on how to do that. And I also need to add a new game to it but still same problem.

You will need the R4CCE to edit the cheat database.

yes. I don't remember the method to get the game ID from a rom, it has been a while since I used it. You will need it so that the cheat database can ID the game when it used by the flashcart. Then you can just add any of the cheat codes that are available to you for the game.
