Every time I start the console, it asks me to update the firmware from version V06 to V07. I accept the update and reboot the console, but then ask me again and again.

If I reject the update and try to start any game, it crashes on the loading screen.

I tried everything: Format the MicroSD, redownload everything from the official site, reupdate the kernel, install a previous version... Nothing

what the size of the microSD which you are using?
we have received several firmware upgrade failed cases with very old 2GB microSD.

Is a 4GB microSD HC.
However, the problem occurred after a month of use without problems.
I do not know what happened. I was playing the usual game, when suddenly there was a freeze, I restarted it and I couldn't play anymore

You can verify the hash of ezkernel.bin on the microSD, the correct hash is listed on the download page of official site.
we also received the wrong file hash caused by decompress software. wrong hash ezkernel.bin will not be updated correctly.

additional suggestion: use the official Panasonic SD formatter

I reformatted the microSD, I redownloaded the Kernel 1.06 and Firmware 7.0 from the official site, I started the console by holding the R button, I upgraded the kernel, restarted the console and the system prompts me to re-update the firmware I had just upgraded. Starting a game and crashing. I don't know what to do anymore, everything worked until a few days ago

As I said, did you verify your ezkernel.bin? and the game rom, where you get it? is it damaged?

How and where can I check my ezkernel.bin? I have always used version 1.06 with firmware 7.0. I also tried to install version 1.04 with firmware 6.0, but the games did not start anyway.
The ROMS are OK, they are not damaged, because on emulator they work perfectly

OK, this is the SHA1 of the file on my microSD (7f19e1eb8017fa016538c554d0778a9ed80fe82d), I compared it with that of the site and is equal

ok, now please tell me, every time when you boot up the card. did it still ask you to update the firmware from 06 to 07? how did you handle it?

Yes, the process always arrives at 100% before asking me to turn off manually, but when I turn back on the console it prompts me again to update the firmware from V06 to V07. If I reject (by pressing B) and try to start any game, it crashes on the loading screen

Last edited by LukeEater,
They only other thing I can think of is try downgrading the kernel to match V06 of the firmware, kernel 1.05 or 1.04.

try to force downgrade the firmware to V3.
download v3 force downgrader here.

extract it to microSD, skip the firmware upgrade prompt, run it as a game.

if you still encounter the black load screen freezing by executing above move. download the kernel v1.01(here), extract it to the root folder of microSD, press R and power up. upgrade(actually downgrade) the kernel to v1.01, then downgrade the firmware again.

once the firmware and kernel both downgrade to K1.01 and FW3. you may try to upgrade to the newest kernel and firmware again.
