EZ Flash jr. Not saving

New to EZ GB flashcarts here!

Got an EZ Flash jr. thinking it could save states. Whenever I turn off the GBC I’m asked if I want to save, I click OK and a file is created in the SAVER folder.

However, whenever I try to start these files I get an ERROR FILE message on screen. If I start the saved game it just starts from the intro screen as if nothing had been saved.

What I’m I missing here? Why saves don’t seem to work? Will I be able to save states in Donkey Kong since I have a battery?

No, it does not save states, you must save in game's save point, then power down the console or reset the card. other wise you will lose your progress.

Also, how can I change the order in which folders are shown?

That's correct. Out of the box, it only supports saving in games which originally supported it.

However, some games have save state patches. See if the game you want has a patch available and patch it to add support.
