Hacking EZ Flash IV 2 in 1 problem!

Hey.

I didn't received yet the miniSD, so for the time, i read i can use this.

My card is NEW, without firmware.

There's any possibility to use with DS?

Can someone explain me how? I tried to start a game, it start and when appear the logo gameboy, it freeze like any cart is inserted in the DS.

As long as you patch your games like your supposed to, it should work fine.

Please do not use those RAM expansion tools TyBlood13 just mentioned for running GBA games with the EZ4- they have a nasty habit of bricking cards.

That said it should have gone into the menu and said "can't find SD" or something like that.

Yea, if i start the ez flash without sd tell me that.

I make it start the game, but sometimes tell me that the save miss, i insert save in GBA/SAVE, isn't right?

ps. What you mean for brick? The R4 or EZ-Flash?

The EZ4- it has a habit of overwriting the loader section which pretty effectively bricks a cart as the only fixing methods we have are not that reliable. That or you have to use it with those expansion pack tools from then on.

The save stuff- the EZ4 does not care what you have in the DS slot and has nothing to do with it. Everything goes on the miniSD.

So, if i use the ez4 like expansion pack with upper tool, i can risk a brick right?
