Hacking Gaming Hardware EZ-Flash Definitive Edition safe mode loop

The Definitive Edition keeps endlessly booting into safe mode, and no matter what steps I take through the recovery process, I can't get past safe mode and access the flash cart. I've tried the recovery steps provided by the company themselves, and I've has zero luck. I'm getting worried I might have to return it and either buy a new one or buy an EverDrive (heard they're better but about a month delivery time). Any advice on what I should do?

If "Loader not found" is not displayed at the bottom of the screen,

then I suspect it might be a contact issue with your SELECT key, possibly a short circuit.

Loader not found is displaying, it just wont bypass the update launcher load

If "Loader not found" appears at the bottom of the screen, as the words literally suggest, the Loader for the cartridge is missing.

You need to recovery it.

We have written a tutorial to recover the loader and provide a recovery image file before. You can access it here, the OMEGA uses this image, Definitive Edition uses this image, the tutorial suits with both card, just different image file.

If you followed the recovery guide steps correctly, you wouldn't be stuck on the blue screen.

Please go through the guide again, and it would be best to record a video so I can analyze which step went wrong.
