Uhh...I don't think it'd be much of a problem, HDDs do get quite hot but not hot enough to damage paper. Though honestly it'd be pretty useless, bare HDDs are totally fine unless you're purposely smashing the PCB with a rock or something. You could probably just makes some cuts in the enclosure you bought so it'd fit correctly.

I'm more worried of damaging the HDD than the paper (lol), would the paper potentially cause the HDD to overheat? It's cut from a standard sheet of paper.
