The hard disk was not opening at all previously until i used mbrfix which made it appear in computer management. I can do a quick exFAT format but NOTHING else. I tried to kill disk and after 5 hours still cannot format to NTFS. I tried using low level formatter by the name of Hard Disk Low Level Format Tool and it says Format error. I also tried using chkdsk with the command chkdsk G: /r and its stuck on 0 while drive info shows no drive info. Finally with HDD regenerator, it went smoothly until 52mb (out of 250gb roughly( and then found about 500 bad sectors which were regenerated but ALL other sectors after that appear to be bad without regeneration possible. I tried at 100000mb, 200000mb and even the last 30gb but still just detecting bad sectors. Any hope for the external or should i make room in my dust bin.
Thanks
Seagate brand ... weapon huh? "flying disc" would be good, just have to sharpen the edges

Well, in short make room in your dust bin. Even if you get the harddisk to work in a way or another, I would never entrust it with any data again since it can only get worse when a hdd starts failing.
